Presents Fit for a Boyfriend

I’m so happy that I can finally share all of the presents that I made for Tim!

First up is a combo present of Captain Capacitor and Resisty the Resistor, both are free (and adorable!) patterns from Mochimochi Land.

(Yes, we wear our ribbons when opening presents.  It is tradition!)

And then we have the most epic present of the year.  I present to you… the Metroid hat!!!

It was a big hit, if you couldn’t tell that by his expression.  It has already been worn once on a trip to the woods during “man time” (a.k.a gun shooting).

Here is another view.  I will probably never make another metroid hat – it was kind of a pain in my ass really.  But so worth it.  There are a lot more details about the process and the pattern on my ravelry page.  It is similar in construction to the skull hat I made a while back.
