Boo!

What good is a craft blog without some awesome Halloween jack o’lantern pictures?  No good at all, so here are ours!

Why yes, that is an anglerfish pumpkin and a scared fish pumpkin.  Not surprisingly the anglerfish pumpkin with the LED was Tim’s.  (If you are curious about that part you can ask, but I will have to ask him, so expect a delay in getting an answer because I have no idea how he did that!  He’s wicked smart with all that stuff.  I do know that it was powered by some sort of battery pack.)

Apparently people found our pumpkins really cool.  We even had some trick-or-treaters come back on Saturday to ask about the LED and how it worked.  I thought that was pretty neat.  Here is a front on view of the jack o’lanterns.  So much fun!

Those are quite awesome! I’m particularly loving the anglerfish, as I’ve had a bit of an obsession with deep sea critters for a while. Creative pumpkins in general are awesome- my boyfriend and I went for a Cannibal, a Tiki God and a Scorpion this year and while they weren’t exactly 100% original ideas, they were unique enough to get use some fun comments.
