Vintage Look Photo Boxes

I just finished up these boxes last night and I am in love with them!  The pictures are of my grandparents when they were young.  These started off as generic $1.99 boxes from Michael’s.  They had ugly handles that I chiseled off with a screw driver, and then I painted them black, inside and out, after taking off the hardware.  I scanned in the pictures that I had and printed them out, just on regular paper, and then decoupaged them to the top.  I brushed the decoupage glue all over the rest of the box to give it a sheen as well.  After reasembly they looked perfect.
