Chair Makeover Part Two: Staging the Reconstruction

pretty!

We took a trip to the craft store and picked out the fabric for the chair.  I had scoped out the selection a few days before, and Tim picked out one that I figured would be a favorite.  Plus, it was half-off, so that was nice.  It’s a really nice feeling suede type fabric, but it’s not too thick, so it shouldn’t be to difficult to work with.

I used all of the old pieces as the pattern and got them all cut out.  This is by far my least favorite part of sewing – I wish I had a cutting machine or something.  So, they are all set to be put back together sometime soon.  Once I get out of my crocheting frenzy.  Yeah.

The color isn’t all that different from the old chair cover, but it feels soooo much nicer.
