Payday at the Craft Store!

I made it to the craft store yesterday, and bought a few things to help keep me busy for the month. So, we have at the top some flowered fabric to make a purse with, with interfacing and yellow lining. Also for the purse there are some magnetic snaps, a zipper (for an inside pocket) and some D-rings to hold the strap on. It should be really cute one it’s finished.

There is also some gold glittery puff paint, which I used to touch up Tim’s flag. The gold lettering from the fabric marker had worn off after all the winter weather. I’m hoping that the puff paint will be a little more robust.

The crazy flowered fabric at the bottom left is actually some vinyl tablecloth material that I thought would make a good lunch bag. I’ve been trying hard this year not to bring home too many plastic bags from the store, but I found out that also means I don’t have a lot of bags to put my lunch in!

And last, but not least, a new rotary cutter blade. My old one got a lot of use during Thing-a-day last month and got pretty dull. The new one cuts through 12 layers of cotton like a champ!
